Jacqueline established J Hill Associates in 2004 following a career in the commercial sector in order to focus on helping people and organisations working to make the world a better place.
Jacqueline's background includes management consultancy with the Hay Group carrying out projects in strategy clarification, performance management, organisational development, leadership development, and project and change management. Clients included Unilever, Reuters, Yell Group, Anglo American, Centrica, FE Colleges and The British Council. She was also a member of the Hay Group team that carried out research into teacher and head teacher effectiveness for the UK government's education department, established a centre of excellence for project management in the consultancy, and led the review and re-launch of Hay Group's UK executive coaching practice.
Jacqueline has held senior leadership roles including leading major change in a division of the Hay Group and as part of the management team of a start-up software company.
Jacqueline has lived and worked in countries such as Bangladesh and Namibia as a strategic planning consultant for agricultural and environmental NGOs. She also has extensive experience working with multi-national and virtual teams in complex international development organisations.
Jacqueline is a member of Bond, the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) and the FIND network; an associate consultant for CHS Alliance and Eastside Prime Timers; an approved executive coach for VSO, British Council, START Network, and Kingston University; and an executive coach and accredited assessor for Ambition School Leadership’s education leadership programmes.
